Job Title:Product Assistant
Job Type:Full time
Responsibilities:
Assist the product manager in job tasks related to product and brands.
Ensure that outlets have sufficient stocks and maintain smooth flow of merchandise planning.
Communicate with suppliers and partners on any issues that may arise.
Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new ones.
Work closely with other departments during the planning of new ranges of products.
Recognise and analyse sales patterns as well as future trends and consumer buying patterns.
Propose good ideas for product promotions and sales strategies.
Job Requirements:
Candidate(s) must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
Preferably minimum 1 year experience in purchasing or related field or retail industry; however, any interested individual is encouraged to apply.
Good time management skills; must be able to commit to work deadlines.
Must have basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors.
