Responsibilities:In-depth knowledge in 3 main disciplines in pathologysuch as Biochemistry, Haematology, and Microbiology for continuous product and business development to serve the market gaps.
Lead, manage and support the marketing team to achieve the department's short- and long-term objectives.
Identify, expand, and monitor potential markets, new markets and be abreast of market trends and data including competitor's information.
Find a niche market in penetrating a novel assay that can be defined by its own unique preferences and specialty.
Develop KOL for all related disciplines in MOH, Hospital, JKN, NIH, IMR & MKAK.
Responsible for the tender spec and CME for all medical products distributed by the Company.
Plan, direct, strategize general activities of the sales team such as customer visits, follow-ups with sales, product complaint handling, structural organization of sales teams in terms of assigned areas and/or products etc.
Monitor and improve sales team performance by working closely with the team members, training and developing the sales team to achieve targets and bring in revenue.
Responsible for branding, market expansion, achieving sales targets and strategic sales/marketing/business development planning, including conducting market research and competitor analysis, existing and emerging sales opportunities etc.
Personally liaise and manage key account customers & principals, lead sales meetings, conduct team sales forecasting and reporting, proposed sales target/KPI/budget based on sales figures/history and data.
Other Requirements:At least a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Science, Biology or other life science discipline or its equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in marketing/business development position in the medical device or pharmaceutical distribution industry and at least 2 years' experience at the supervisory or managerial level in marketing/business development.
Must be able to interact smoothly with business partners from China.
Solid leadership and management skills, good business ethics.
