Product Stewardship Executive

Details of the offer

Duties and responsibilities  1. Responsible on customer's request and enquiries on products documentation and samples preparation including generate, maintain and update technical product literature for finished products - such as information sheets, product specifications, Safety Data sheets and related documentation for internal use and customer use 
2. Provide regulatory support to internal & external customer. Coordinate with HQ regulatory division especially related to EU regulation and CODEX. 
3. Responsible in preparing information and related to regulation. Periodically monitor updates to food regulations in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia. 
4. Coordinate and facilitating communication between the company and regulatory agencies if necessary. 
5. Support on maintaining customer request management system's functionality 
6. Implement safety requirements in-line with safety regulation and company policies 
7. Member of Food Safety Team, responsible to coordinate and improves the food safety issue. Ensures to report if detected any quality or food safety issue and participate in resolving it. 
8. Carry out lab work when required (Chemical and physical properties) 
9. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor 
Required Personal Attributes 1. Proven record of loyalty and integrity 
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
3. Fluency in English and solid command of Malay is an advantage 
4. Adaptable to and comfortable with a multicultural environment 
5. Independent, responsible and self-motivated, hence able to work under minimal supervision 
6. Team player, collaborative with internal and external departments 
7. Well organized and able to prioritize 
8. Analytical skills to interpret and apply complex regulations 
9. Attention to details thorough in reviewing regulatory documentation
Educational and professional background 1. Bachelor's degree in food science, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. 
2. 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry, experience with baking, flour, and vitamin industry is an advantage. 
3. Knowledge of international food safety standards such as Codex Alimentarius, FSMA, etc. 
4. Familiarity with food regulations in Asia 
5. Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities in Asia. 
6. Proficiency with software tools such MS office
