Product Translator Engineer

Translate technical documents, including product descriptions, user manuals, and marketing materials from Chinese to English.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translation of product features and functionalities
Conduct research and analysis to ensure the accuracy and relevance of translations
Develop and maintain glossaries and terminology databases to ensure consistency in translation
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and quality of translations
Review and edit translations to ensure high-quality output
Provide linguistic expertise to help develop product localization strategies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in both English and Chinese languages
Your QualificationsBachelor's degree in an engineering field or a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science)
Strong English language background (English level 4 above)
2+ years of experience as a translator or in a related field (e.g. technical writing, localization)
Excellent translation skills, with a focus on technical documentation
Proficient in both English and Chinese languages
