Production Admin

Details of the offer

• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Maintain and document information on equipment, security, and safety.
• Record quantities of materials or items received.
• Match purchase orders with sales orders and distribute for processing.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments.
• Manage stock operations, including outgoing shipments, receiving, and storage.
• Handle additional duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Purchase materials cost-effectively, ensuring the lowest cost consistent with required quality and service.
• Review and compare prices.
• Follow up with vendors on shipments and deliveries, confirming or adjusting orders as necessary.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor inventory levels and production/store schedules to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
• Plan equipment, materials, and manpower to effectively execute job orders.
• Coordinate with the Head of Department to plan and implement engineering changes in production lines.
• Instruct and ensure the achievement of production targets through optimal use of manpower and machines.
• Monitor stock levels daily to ensure accuracy and investigate any variances with relevant departments.
• Plan inventory management to prevent shortages or excess.
• Maintain production/store planning activity reports and sequences.


• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Having experience in production administration, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, SAP) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Basic knowledge of supply chain processes, purchasing, and production planning.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and production workflow is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to analyze stock data, investigate discrepancies, and propose solutions.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with warehouse staff, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory or production-related issues.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
