Essential requirements of skills, experience, physical requirements etc:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Copper or Aluminum industry preferably in rod production
Good knowledge in production operations including 5S, ISO 9000, ISO 4000, Quality Improvement Tools
Ability to control manpower and to ensure the right kind of discipline in a manufacturing plant
Ability to work in 8 hrs or 12 hrs rotating shifts.
Good leadership/problem solving and communication skills, able to work independently, multi-tasking and team work.
SAP system knowledge are preference
Age: 27 – 45 years.
Able to work in shift
Main tasks, duties, authorization limits and deputy functions:
Lead the production line / process control of the copper rod plant and supporting ancillary equipment in rotating shifts.
Set up the appropriate work procedure, support process development and production improvement.
Ensure quality control procedure and the process flow in accordance to the specified standards.
Monitor operation performance to achieve highest level of productivity.
Check the raw material and consumables available for smooth operation of the plant.
Maintain control of cost and plants to be operated efficiently within budget norms.
Maintenance of plant and machinery as per the guidelines drawn.
Lead a team of operating personnel and maintain high team morale and cooperative atmosphere.
Impart relevant hands-on operational and safety training to the reporting personnel.
Troubleshooting/strong analytical ability to solve production/process issues.
Coordinate maintenance activities.
