Responsibilities:
Arrange the weekly manpower working schedule according to production plan, including overtime arrangement.
Ensure the production output meets the target tonnage and delivery schedule for customers.
Monitor the daily production output according to production planning and provide updates.
Check and approve the daily cutting report and finished goods transfer report.
Collaborate with planning for production completion status and update on urgent delivery items.
Stay back or work overtime at night to monitor production conditions and output, especially for urgent deliveries requested by the sales department.
Guide and lead supervisors and assistant supervisors to resolve any problems occurring during daily production.
Work with safety personnel on outstanding safety, environmental, and compliance issues.
Ensure the safety of all section leaders and workers in each section.
Set up a preventive maintenance system for factory machines to ensure effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and rectify production and machinery issues.
Ensure machines are assembled according to proper steps and procedures to meet expected quality requirements.
Arrange training for maintenance staff to ensure a good understanding of machine parts and assembly processes.
Ensure good quality machines are produced at all times.
Maintain production equipment properly, including tools and measuring instruments.
Ensure proper documentation, file records, and updating of data/records of the planning system.
Ensure Quality Management System is in order.
Perform any assignments as instructed by the superior and management.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM and above or Diploma, Degree.
At least 2 years working experience.
Must be able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to communicate with people at all levels.
Possess a sense of responsibility and leadership skills.
Able to make decisions within the work scope.
Able to handle and work under pressure or stress conditions.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
