Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure all manufacturing batches are produced in accordance with the standard operating procedures and consistently meet the requirements and product specifications.
Provide interpersonal and leadership skills and support for continuing process improvement efforts for manufacturing which benefit line quality, efficiency, and/or productivity.
Address gaps of non-compliances or production issues; recommend actions to ensure gaps or issues are closed within agreed budgets and timeframes.
Prepare annual production budget and capital expenditure.
Control production expenses to meet timelines and stay within budget.
Monitor workers' work performance, discipline, and attendance; take necessary disciplinary actions with HR advice.
Prepare weekly/monthly production reports (output, capacity, efficiency, rejects, etc.).
Coordinate with Warehouse & Logistics, Procurement & Planning, and relevant Departments to ensure production and/or goods meet established Quality and Safety standards.
Ensure a safe workplace and that all job activities are performed in a safe manner.
Keep abreast of current business trends, production processes, and technologies to continually improve product quality and reliability.
Support company-wide continuous training and development programs.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum RequirementsA Diploma and/or Degree inEngineeringwith3 or more years of working experience in either Production or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing operation.
Able to demonstrate strong professional writing skills and the ability to prepare technical reports.
Has a sense of urgency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Proficiency is required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and English, both written and oral.
