Production Clerk / Admin - Based in KulimAdd expected salary to your profile for insights.
Responsibilities:Check, monitor, record and update the workers' daily attendance, OT, and leave application process.
Update the daily production report and related statistical record.
Check and follow up on the 6S schedule for the related production department.
Liaise with the HR department for production workers' affair issues.
Guide new workers for orientation and safety training before passing them to the related department and updating the workers' details in the namelist records.
Liaise with the Admin department for production workers' affair issues.
Update the whole production workers' namelist weekly.
Compile the monthly production workers' attendance list.
Communicate and act as a translator between local production workers and expatriates to ensure that work instructions are followed and completed.
Responsible for translation of related production records and procedures to ensure that production is executed in accordance with the related procedures.
Manage and motivate the staff, monitoring them to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
Monitor the progress of production, confirming that it stays on schedule and within budget.
Meet regularly with production teams and managers to analyze any problems and ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery of products.
Perform any other tasks required by the superior.
Requirements:Candidate must possess at least SPM, STPM, or Diploma in any field.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
Required skills: MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferably at least 1-2 years of production administration experience.
Able to communicate in Mandarin due to the need to deal with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Fast learner and must be able to work within the team.
Candidate with Mandarin speaking skills will have a high advantage.
