Scope of Works:
Monitor daily production, proposing strategies to bridge production gaps efficiently.
Generate short-term/long-term production profile for the Sarawak Asset.
Responsible for analyzing and tracking daily production figures, losses and downtime throughout the COMPANY Asset.
Responsible in well and field production performance and back allocation
Validate production well test data using Nodal Analysis software.
Manage Production Well Database to reflect the latest data in PDMS, OFM and internal database system.
Coordinating well reviews. Serve as a key liaison between Subsurface, Drilling, Operations, Offshore, and other stakeholders to address well performance issues.
Perform production technology and reservoir engineering analyses required to improve understanding of well and reservoir performance including nodal analysis, material balance modeling (MBAL), decline curve analysis, volumetric calculations, oil and gas reservoir performance monitoring, production forecasting, pressure data analysis and well test analysis.
Collaborate with Reservoir Engineers and Geoscientists to review well/field performances for optimal recovery.
Create and validate single well and network models for production optimization.
Analyze gas lift performances and propose remedial activities for individual wells.
Evaluate historical well stimulation activities and recommend further actions as necessary.
Prepare Well Activity Proposals, review programs and supervise and support the execution of well interventions.
Maintain an accurate overview of reservoir/production strings produced/injected/process fluid streams for accounting purposes in a highly complex oil and gas infrastructure with many interconnections and over a large geographical spread managed from two divisions.
Responsible for coordination, compilation and consolation of the materials for monthly well, reservoir, field management report, technical committee meeting (TCM) and integrated operations meeting (IOM).
Provide Production Technology support to production operations and field development studies.
Provide assistance in contract preparation and contract management as required.
Occasional field/site visits for sharing production and reservoir surveillance strategy.
Requirement(s):
Degree in Petroleum Engineering from recognized university
Preferably 5 years working experience in similar position.
Technical awareness in reservoir, completion and well characterization.
Prior experience with Petroleum Engineering software specifically in Nodal Analysis and Network Modelling i.e PETEX and decline curve analysis i.e OFM.
Familiar with issues relating to drilling, production and work over of offshore dry-tree and Subsea wells.
Willingness to travel to the field, both onshore and offshore.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
