Production Line Manager

Job ResponsibilitiesLead production teams to meet profit and performance targets.
Drive continuous improvement in operations, focusing on people, processes, and systems.
Manage all operational results, including safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
Report on KPIs and ensure effective KPI data management and visual boards.
Maintain robust planning and control techniques for manufacturing activities.
Collaborate with the materials department to address delivery and planning issues.
Optimize manufacturing operations and support processes with Manufacturing Engineering.
Implement company strategies and lean methodologies.
Ensure facility maintenance supports effective operations.
Assess staff levels and training needs in line with business strategies.
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Enhance communication and trust with staff and negotiate with works committees as needed.
Review and prepare capital expenditure proposals aligned with strategic goals.
Create conditions to maximize performance and reduce employee turnover.
Conduct annual appraisals and set performance objectives for staff.
Job RequirementsDegree in a technical field.
Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, preferably in automotive.
