A Production manager responsible- Lead productions plans/schedule and motivate the teams to achieve production yields and quality targets through optimum utilization of manpower, equipment and materials.- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department to meet production targets, efficiency, product quality and availability- Continuous monitoring to maximize production output, and minimize wastage of materials, time and resources.- Ensure all guidelines, SOPs, procedures and practices set by management are fully implemented and fully committed on plant safety proceduresDESCRIPTION- Work closely with Production Planning Department and relevant stakeholder to ensure all products delivery schedule are met.- Provide leadership to the production engineers and supervisors in day-to-day operations and achieving desired KPIs.- Lead problem solving activities and troubleshoot the root cause of breakdown/ system failure.- Initiate process improvement, system upgrading and maintenance to ensure operations run efficiently.- Assess and improve work instruction & SOP whenever necessary.- Plan, supervise and assess the manpower utilization in the team.- Establish safety procedures and instill best practices of workplace safety.- Lead strategic initiatives to drive the production performance and risk management- Develop and implement strategic to motivate team performance and organization development.- Analyze the training needs and develop program to upskills the team's competencies.- Optimize the process conditions and parameter to improve output performances & quality.- Maintaining ISO 9001 & GMP, HACCP standard in daily operations and sustainability- Lead by example to inculcate plant cleanliness and 5S housekeeping.- Prepared to attend any call back during plant commissioning and breakdown.- Carry out any other tasks assigned by Superior time to time.**REQUIREMENTS**:1. Minimum 7 years working experience in manufacturing industry, preferably from palm oil /food industry with strong management skills.2. Strong knowledge in HACCP and Food Safety Standards.3. A logical and methodical approach with good analytical and practical skills4. Good interpersonal skills and an adaptable approach to management.5. Good communication skill, team player, and objective-driven.
