The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process within the facility, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning: Develop production schedules and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and manpower.Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise staff to meet production goals.Process Optimization: Improve efficiency and reduce waste in production processes.Quality Control: Ensure product quality standards are met and resolve any defects.Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.Cost Control: Monitor production costs and manage the budget effectively.Inventory Management: Oversee material availability and coordinate timely deliveries.Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management. Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.Technical Skills: Knowledge of production planning, Lean Manufacturing or ISO standard.Managerial Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing production teams.Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with procurement, quality control, and upper management.Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended standing and exposure to noise.
