Responsibilities:Develop department budget plans and review strategies/action plans to align with company business strategies and customer needs.
Ensure daily output fulfilment and continuously improve on-time delivery performance.
Identify areas for continuous improvement in the fulfilment of work orders.
Drive direct labour cost reduction and continuous improvement activities in manufacturing to achieve desired product quality, yield, manufacturing efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through lean concepts and automation innovations.
Monitor manpower awareness and provide sufficient training to operators about quality processes, safety, and company regulations.
Ensure proper execution of these processes.
Collaborate with process engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
Continuously improve manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Maintain company facilities in good and safe condition.
Improve facilities/workshop layout following lean/6S principles.
Build a high-quality production team that is willing to take on challenges.
Inspire and motivate a culture of ownership and quality awareness among operators.
Manage WIP materials to ensure proper storage, handling, and data accuracy.
Reduce material attrition rates.
Ensure all activities adhere to EHS procedures in the production line.
Collect and manage waste and dangerous goods.
Monitor healthy environment and labour protection issues on the production line.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Ensure all activities comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Adhere to and actively support the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards to ensure quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety compliance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in production management, preferably in the EMS industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in the EMS industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 6S principles.
Experience with automation innovations and their implementation in manufacturing.
