Production Manager

**Responsibilities**:- Manage a production department's work force and equipment to meet production goals- Ensure that production stays on schedule and within budget- Hire, train, and evaluate production department's work force to ensure they meet performance requirements- Create ways to make the production process more efficient- Determine whether overtime work is necessary- Fix any production problems that may arise- Lead a production department so that all production activities meet the organization's short- and long-term business objectives.- To ensure products are made and ship to customer on time as per quality & customer requirements.- Establish production budgets, monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.**Requirements**:- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.- Preferably Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent- Required skills:- Proven experience as production manager- Good understanding and knowledgeable in production management- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulate- Knowledge in ISO standards is added advantage.- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concept- Experience in reporting on key production metrics- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and- Epicor ERP software- Outstanding communication ability- Excellent organizational and leaderships skill- Attention to detail.- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach- Ability to read technical drawings is an added advantage
