DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the production floor day-to-day operation, including production schedule, job allocation, workforce, and cost control.
Ensures finished output meets quality standards within the allocated timeline and budget.
Ensures daily production output meets set targets and prepares production reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Required to understand the production schedule and meet inspection dates as stated.
Ensures all required materials are released across production as per SOP.
Records and communicates all downtime.
Manages space on the production floor to prevent congestion due to finished goods and WIPs, highlighting issues to related departments for action.
Ensures NCR is filled properly for production issues to QC department.
Troubleshoots to solve production delays, downtimes, and related issues.
Aims to improve production operations' efficiency through reviewing process flow, production schedules, and engineering specifications.
Ensures machines are maximized to full capacity.
Raises downtime reports if there are any maintenance issues.
Ensures operators work with machines according to the published manuals.
Monitors material wastage and collaborates with the production team to minimize it.
Maintains proper documentation for rejected products that need disposal.
Works closely with QC to achieve quality as per business standards.
Reports on quality for all production processes from QC.
Acts as the liaison between the Production team and Management.
Ensures proper training is provided to employees from the date of employment by the department Supervisor/Leader/Assistant Leader.
Follows up with newly hired employees on the production floor to address any work-related issues or concerns with their immediate supervisors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
