Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Balanced ProductionResponsible to cooperate and support the production request by implementing production planning to the production team.
Responsible to develop and implement on-site operation standards and processes so that production is carried out according to customer needs, ensuring progress and quality.Product Quality ControlStudy the production requirements of the production order request, develop quality standards and processes according to standard samples.
Solve any product quality problem during production before the finished goods are complete to reduce the return of goods from customers and ensure product quality.People ManagementResponsible for production manning arrangement and scheduling, formulate and revise work processes standards, responsible to organize each staff workload.
Coordinate the production team allocation accordingly to reasonably distribute the production work.
Responsible for the training, education, and management of the production staff.
To conduct assessment of their work performance, reward or penalize accordingly.
Lead the production team to comply with various rules and regulations of the factory, and build up the enthusiasm and creativity of employees, so that they can better serve the company.
Monitor each employee's punctuality and their work attendance.
Ensure justice, fairness, fact-based and convincing in evaluating employee's attendance.
Flexibility in adjusting any urgency or pressure within the production team, to effectively improve the working atmosphere, and create high spirit within the production team.Production Planning and ArrangementMonitor the sufficient quantity of raw material for production.
Any re-order or replenish of raw material to sufficiently support production needs to be done on timely basis.
Well organized in all the pre-production preparations, such as allocation of production equipment, manning arrangement, and the tools & hardware.
Cooperate with the technical department to prepare relevant equipment, physical samples, and other necessary products for production, so that each product goes smoothly.Production Equipment / Machinery ManagementEducate and supervise the production team to properly maintain their own machinery and equipment, so that "who uses - who takes care - who maintains".
Ensure production team does their daily machinery cleaning, check if the machinery or equipment is in good condition, and notify the maintenance team to make repairs in time to ensure that the machine is working properly.Production Safety ManagementAlways ensure proper work done on fire prevention, burglary, and anti-theft etc.
Ensure safety issue during production, and always refresh employees on fire prevention knowledge from time to time.
All flammable products and fires are strictly prohibited from entering the production site, and smoking is prohibited in the site.
Raise the habit of leaving the production site with machinery / equipment shut down accordingly within the team and ensure employees conduct regular security checks on machinery / equipment.Site ManagementProperly organize the production site.
All tools and equipment are placed in a neat manner.
They are not allowed to be simply placed, moved or exchanged at one's will.
Personal items such as teacups, snacks, etc.
are strictly prohibited from being brought into the production site.
Semi-finished Goods and Finished Goods need to be separated properly to avoid confusion.
Ensure cleanliness of the production site from time to time.
Problem solving on various problems in the field.
Ability to solve all kinds of problems/issues occurred in the production site.
The production department is tasked with finding effective ways to lower production costs.
Eg.
keep the production machinery and equipment well-maintained so the firm does not regularly incur repair costs.
Along with advising the business to adopt newer technologies, the department can also assess the production line to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Ability to hands-on from a technical point of view with focus on strategy and processes.
Identify errors and eliminate root cause, sustain the corrective action plan to eliminate repeat issues.Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by the Management.
