Your mission:
To ensure environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are being adhered to and maintain high safety standard and a safe working environment.
To study and recommend to management on the improvement of process flow and automation of machines to reduce cost and improve efficiency of production process.
To recommend, implement and monitor optimum level of all production parameters to maximize quality and productivity of polymer production.
To practice good housekeeping concept and ensure cleanliness in the production area. Ensure that Safety and Health measures in the plant are enforced at all times.
To ensure the quality level for incoming, in-process and outgoing materials meets company's goals and objective, and the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Certification standard.
To provide technical assistance and training to subordinates on the machine parameters, process flow and other relevant knowledge on polymer production.
To manage and coordinate with subordinates to have sufficient workforce to ensure smooth running of production.
To control and manage the subordinates to ensure all the machines are running at the optimum parameters and the polymer produced meet the quality and quantity requirements.
To analyse the plant per operation and maintenance plan; perform troubleshooting whenever required and report to management accordingly.
To analyse daily feedback and reports from QA and QC department to propose and implement corrective actions.
To plan, implement and manage shutdown schedule and preventive maintenance programs and to coordinate with maintenance personnel to maximize resources utilization.
To prepare and participate in plant inspection and audit by internal and external parties.
To observe, promote and upkeep the Top Glove Group of Companies' Business Philosophies and Company policies, in order to set the standard of performance and management style.
To perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
The scope of authority shall refer to the relevant Top Glove work process procedures/instructions.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years of work experience in manufacturing environment.
Relevant work experience in polymer synthesis and petrochemical synthesis plant would be advantageous.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Polymer, Petroleum) or equivalent.
Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
Good knowledge of process safety and personal safety.
Good knowledge and application of scientific approach to resolve problems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills with proven track records.
