Production & Material Planner

Production Planner Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.Capacity Planning: Ensure efficient utilization of production resources by analyzing capacity and identifying bottlenecks in the production process.Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid overproduction or shortages.Coordination with Departments: Work closely with the purchasing, quality control, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.Issue Resolution: Address any production delays, material shortages, or equipment breakdowns to minimize disruptions.Material Planner Responsibilities: Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Use ERP systems to generate material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate lead times, and resolve any supply chain issues.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels for raw materials, components, and supplies, preventing shortages or excess stock.Purchase Orders Management: Create and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on any delays or discrepancies with suppliers.Collaboration with Production: Work closely with production planners to align material availability with production schedules and resolve any material-related issues.
