PRIMARY PURPOSE: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to
join our team in a fast-paced printing label manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing machines or handling packing/
slitting jobs at the production floor to produce high-quality labels in accordance with customer
specifications and company standards.
Operate Printing Equipment: Set up, run, and monitor printing machines (flexographic, digital, offset, etc.) to produce labels according to production schedules and customer orders. Quality Control: Perform routine inspections to ensure labels meet quality standards and specifications, including color accuracy, registration, and cutting precision. Machine Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed to ensure optimal performance. Material Handling: Manage and load materials such as rolls of label stock, inks, and adhesives into machines. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or contamination. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any issues encountered during the production process. Report any equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Collaboration: Work closely with other production team members, including operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel, to meet production goals and deadlines. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process improvements. Qualifications:
Education: SPM / Diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in printing or related fields is a plus. Experience: At least [1-3] years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the printing or label manufacturing industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of printing processes (flexographic, digital, etc.), machine operation, and basic troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with label materials and adhesives is a plus. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues and defects during production. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials (up to [X] pounds), and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
