Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Develop and generate production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate production forecasting.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall productivity.
Manage and optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production targets efficiently.
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Communicate with internal teams and customers on production and delivery status regularly.
Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
Conduct regular safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture among production staff.
Lead and motivate the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
Generate regular reports on production performance, including key metrics, efficiency, and any challenges encountered.
Prepare all related reports related to your department's production.
Any Ad-Hoc tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify optimization opportunities.
Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems.
