Production Planner (Fresh Graduates Are Welcomed)This position is responsible for overseeing and planning the production operations for manufacturing sections, coordinating production staff and equipment to ensure quality and efficiency in productions.
Key responsibilities:
Validate the production plan and launch production work orders.
Align production targets with customer needs in collaboration with the production team.
Ensure material availability before launching work orders with the purchasing team.
Reschedule work in progress (WIP) to manage unexpected events.
Participate in applicable daily production meetings and communicate priorities.
Follow up daily by assembly line on the work in progress already released to the floor and prioritize.
Utilize various tools, including order management systems and production planning software, to make production decisions.
Launch production kits according to the production line requirements on a daily basis.
Lead and participate in applicable project kickoff meetings.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Analyze customers' forecasts/orders and work with internal teams to load the work order accordingly.
Check the availability of material, WIP, and finished goods.
Plan and deliver work order schedules to Production.
Review and monitor closely to ensure Production promised dates and customer delivery schedules are met.
Perform risk analysis and collaborate with inter-departments to overcome challenges in Production scheduling to improve On-Time Delivery.
Advise the order management team on the Estimated Time of Departure / Estimated Time of Arrival (ETD / ETA) based on material and production lead time.
Minimum Requirements:
• Possess at least a Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or any field Diploma holder.
• More than 1 year of Production Planning experience in a high-level assembly industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
