is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak.
As a fulltime member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in optimising our production processes and ensuring we meet our manufacturing targets efficiently and cost-effectively.
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain production schedules to align with customer demand and production capabilities
Work with buyer for material availability & production capacity for shipment commitment to customer.
Provide production schedule plan according to customer OTD demand.
Monitor production progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed to address any bottlenecks or delays
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to identify and resolve any issues that could impact production
Support BU on new products/models' new inquiry on process & cycle time improvement.
Calling & coordination meeting with respective department pic for solving all the gating issue which impact shipment date & qty.
Analyse production data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Assist in the development and implementation of new production planning and control systems and processes
Provide training and guidance to production staff to ensure efficient execution of the production plan
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of production planning and control principles, including capacity planning, materials management, and scheduling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
Proficient in using production planning and control software, such as ERP systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Required language - Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
