Responsibilities
To perform planning, prepare schedule for production lines and coordinate production workflow for one or multiple parts.
To plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay of output.
To follow up issues of quality or delivery with department supervisors when issues arise with the aim to minimize disruption.
To obtain output information e.g.
number of finished parts and percentage of defective parts.
To collaborate with OQA, IQC, Store, Production and other supporting functions to accomplish assignments of jobs.
To update the Management in KPI of customer forecast and OTD on a timely basis.
To communicate with customer's buyers for any ETA matters and update customers on the new ETA with reasons for delay on a timely basis.
To ensure filling of documentation is performed in an orderly manner and retrievable as and when required.
To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
Requirements
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a related field is required, preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.
Experience in planning for the sheet metal department is an added advantage.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Resourceful with a positive attitude and able to work independently.
