Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage production indirect material requirements to meet production demand forecasts.
Coordinate with departments such as purchasing, manufacturing and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent overproduction or shortages.
Adjust plans based on changes in production scheduling, supply chain issues, or consumption rate.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, engineering or industrial management.
2 to 3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
PREFERRED:
Strong analytical skills to analyze data, forecast, and performance metrics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and other data analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams such as procurement, production, and logistics.
Strong problem-solving abilities and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting.
SKILLS
Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) or other planning software, demand forecasting, inventory management and production scheduling.
Knowledge of IMS or BCMS principles may be an advantage.
