Early involved to get more product knowledge and the process flow.Responsible for the planning with respect to ATL and volume production as well as scheduling for the pre-production series.To work with PQ to register the item code for the sub part and finished goods in ERP system.To ensure the BOM and Routing is accurately maintained in the ERP system.PRODUCTION SCHEDULING - VOLUME PRODUCTIONTo liaise with Customer and BD on confirming the PO and update the customer on any changes in delivery status.To coordinate and supervise overall production planning and sub-con activities on manpower, production build plan, material control, and proper shipping documentation.To liaise with Business Development on the customer forecast and order.
Simulate the production build plan with minimum inventory liability exposures and ensure we are meeting customer requirements at all times.To review the production capacity and process yield with operation and IE from time to time and plan accordingly.To highlight to Head of Production Planning and Operations for any abnormalities on the production floor that prevent meeting customer requirements and work out a recovery plan with all relevant departments.To ensure any changes on the BOM and Routing are updated to the system on time.To closely monitor inventory stock levels and ensure Inventory Turns meet management targets.To follow up on Sub-con material movement and settle all inventory discrepancies with them.To continuously develop our Sub-con and closely monitor their performance to ensure they meet our requirements at all times.To compile the Finished Goods and sub-parts liability report during Model EOL or ECN, and then work out with BD for the liability claim.To review all relevant production planning and sub-con procedures and process flows to ensure compliance with Production Planning Procedures.To ensure all production control staff are adequately trained to perform their relevant duties and that the training plan is reviewed and implemented accordingly.To communicate all issues related to production control activities with internal supporting staff or external suppliers and customers, if necessary.To be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping 5S, proper teamwork, and coordination between all other departments in achieving compliance with the company's Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Management System.To perform any other duties as assigned by your superior(s) from time to time.How do your skills match this job?
