Production Scheduler

Job Summary: Responsible for creating and managing detailed assembly and test bay schedules. Production schedules are details that specifies the exact steps that needs to be taken within the assembly and test bay processes including change instruction stations, the resources that will be needed, and the time frames for each step. The production scheduler works with the planner to ensure that the production schedule is aligned with the production plan. Job Scopes: -Translate production plan into detailed schedule of tasks and activities to meet customer demand and company goals in alignment with planner. Coordinate within assembly, test bay and warehouse to ensure production schedules are feasible and all necessary resources are available for both systems and spare parts. -Monitor production (assembly and test bay) to ensure that schedules are being met and that any problems are identified and addressed quickly. -Prepare reports on production activities and performance. -Ensure resources are used in the most effective manner -Provide the production leaders with a daily schedule of jobs to be completed and the priority for rush jobs -Utilize acquired knowledge, analytical skills, and critical thinking to resolve scheduling problems and/or issues -Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement -Ensure bulk materials under the responsibility of production are replenished on time without disruption to production process.
