Job Overview:
During Project Phase (Win/Execute) the Production Superintendent prepares for and executes offshore installation operations requirements. This role involves preparing engineering analysis and procedures, then coordinating with the project for safe and efficient offshore scope execution.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in P&ID Reviews, HAZOP, and Model Reviews identifying operability, maintainability, and start-up issues and concerns.
Develop offshore execution methods from offshore projects during project execution.
Drive safety by design and lead on opportunities for innovation.
Review engineering, technical project preparation, and execution support to design for operations.
Review internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports, and procedures).
Prepare offshore procedures.
Specify operation requirements.
Prepare and perform operational risk assessments.
Attend the testing of equipment.
Prepare and coordinate production department assignments for the project.
Develop and retain motivated and competent people.
Undertake the role of system owner.
Liaise with the Commissioning and Operations Managers during the Engineering, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning Phases and with the Client Operations Manager during the Start-up Phase.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with major contractors.
Minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
Familiarity with international codes and standards.
Good communication, coordination, and organizing skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills and integrity.
Stakeholder management skills - proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
Previous experience and strong technical skills in one or more of the following domains: Gas processing, Gas Treatment, Oil System, Produced Water System, Seawater Treatment.
Participate in the delivery of engagements, bringing analytical skills, familiarity with organizational and process issues, and related technologies.
