Production Supervisor

Supervise a team of Production Operators to execute the Production Build Plan given by Planning Department. Meeting the Production Plan is given (a must). Work with all related Parties to ensure production outputs meet shipment plan.- Training, developing and motivating subordinates to achieve high level of performance that covers discipline, housekeeping, attendance, productivity, quality and scrap.- Ensure operators are properly trained and certified to run assigned operation.- Arrange cross training to equip operators with multi skills to be ready for different job deployment whenever necessary.- Prepare production reports for management and other section /department as required.- Initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes to minimize process or production disruptions.- Highlight/report attendance, quality, equipment, jig and fixture problems promptly to section /department responsible and follow up closely to ensure problem is attended to and to minimize impact to production output.- Ensure operator discipline, compliance to standard operating procedure and good housekeeping are being observed at all times. Any deviations observed must be corrected immediately.- Exercise proper control to minimize inventory discrepancy and maximize material utilization.- Take prompt actions, including line purging, in response to quality problem detected by QA to contain the problem and minimize the risk to customer.- Provide support to other section/department in coordinating and performing activities such as evaluations, new product or process qualification.- Mitigate problems that disrupt production. If necessary, actions to be taken include deploying operators from other processes, loan operator from other sections to minimize interruption to production.- Manage employee discipline with a good dose of common sense and understanding of people needs. Ensure no labor unrest.- Lead and supervise subordinates to ensure that the duties carried out meet or exceed the expectations.- Manage rework, scrap and general wastage in Production.- Carry out special activities or project assigned by superior.**Requirement**:- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to Friday
