Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the production manager in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling all activities within the production functions.
Supervise overall production processes to ensure KPIs, capacity, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
Monitor and streamline manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Plan and supervise production operations to ensure production schedules are met.
Conduct effective manpower planning to achieve labor efficiency and productivity.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to maintain continuous operations.
Monitor daily reporting, update, and prepare production reports.
Oversee work-in-progress QC checking to ensure final product quality. Collaborate with QA to meet product quality requirements and improve process control during manufacturing.
Implement 5S activities on the production floor to ensure compliance with management's requirements.
Train and evaluate new operators and provide on-the-job training to existing operators to ensure competency.
Ensure operators comply with company rules, regulations, and safety requirements.
Motivate and encourage subordinates to achieve maximum productivity.
Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job RequirementsEducation & Professional Qualification:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the production department, preferably in the food industry and manufacturing.
Training Needs:Trained on the requirements of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety systems, ISO 9001 Standard, if preferred.
Trained on the programs identified in the On-Job Training Program & Records.
Necessary Experience:Able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and computer literate.
Able to perform shift work.
