About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Alpha Brake Sdn Bhd.
As our Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our manufacturing plant in Klang, Selangor.
This full-time position is crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality and productivity across our operations.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day manufacturing activities to meet production targets and schedules.
Manage and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process.
Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks to maximise efficiency.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to optimise production workflows.
Maintain accurate production logs and generate performance, output, and quality reports.
Ensure availability of resources (manpower, equipment, materials) for production requirements.
Track and estimate inventory levels, coordinating with purchasing when materials are low.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement methodologies.
Flexible and adaptable to changes in production priorities and process improvements.
Proficient in reading and interpreting production data, reports, and technical documents.
Must be able to communicate in Chinese with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
