Company Overview:
Promac Enterprises Sdn Bhd (abbreviated as PE) was incorporated in 1989 as a food manufacturing company and toll packer for products such as custard powder, semolina, baking powder, cereal, and edible oil for the Middle East markets.
In 1991, PE secured the sole distributorship of dairy products for Malaysian industrial users from Fonterra Ltd, New Zealand.
With this involvement in dairy products, PE later ventured into consumer packing and canning of milk powder and butter ghee for the Middle East market.
To streamline the company's operations, a new subsidiary, Promac Industries Sdn Bhd (PI), was formed in 1991 to take charge of manufacturing and warehousing, while PE serves as the headquarters focusing on sales and marketing, providing support in planning, purchasing, administrative, accounting, and financing for the group.
To cater to the growing demand in the edible oil market, a new packing plant was set up in Pasir Gudang, Johore, in 2003, which not only increased intake capacity but also enlarged the range of products from palm oil to soft oil.#J-18808-Ljbffr
