Job Requirements Information Technology / Computer Science / AI: Candidates must have PhD, Master & Bachelor's Degree qualification in the respective subjects/disciplines – Artificial Intelligence, Application and System Development, Blockchain, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics & Visualization, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Big Data, Networking & Communication, Mobile Computing, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, etc.
(Preferred area of study: Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Programming) Actuarial Sciences: Candidates must have at least Master & Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or any related academic discipline with strong research background.
Master graduates with Associate/Fellow membership from Society of Actuaries (SoA) will also be considered.
Candidates should have at least 1 or more years of teaching experience in the relevant disciplines Candidates should have a record of exceptional teaching, scholarship, and service, preferably with evidence of effective academic and administrative leadership A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds Industry experience in the related field is an added advantage.
Excellent command of spoken and written English Added advantage: strong written & spoken command in Mandarin.
Job Descriptions To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses delivered by the School and, as required, to teach on associated programmes offered by the University To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements Design and execute formative and summative assessment including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes Provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations Monitoring of students performance on the programme, and continuous improvement of programme Participate in the administration of the programmes of study and other activities in the School and Faculty of Computing & Engineering Conduct research in areas as per discussion with Dean/Head of Department Establish and maintain links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities Conduct public seminars on contemporary issues when necessary.
Take part in major public exhibitions, open days and road shows when required.
Other duties within the Faculty and University as required
