Duties and Responsibilities
Supports programme and pipeline management.
Provides effective support to planning, implementation monitoring and timely reporting.
Supports the integration of women empowerment and gender equality considerations into programme planning, implementation and reporting and supports the Gender Team efforts to uphold the CO Gender Equality Seal aspirations.
Supports implementation of business processes quality assurance and oversight of programme and projects implementation in the area of Nature, Climate and Energy.
Provides operational and financial management support.
Facilitates Learning, Knowledge Management and Self Development.
Required Skills and Experience
Education
Secondary education is required.
A university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or any related field will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
Certification in programme/project management (e.g., PRINCE, MSP, PMP, etc.)
and/or accounting/audit areas is desirable.
Experience
A minimum of 6 years (with secondary education) or 3 years (with bachelor's degree) of relevant progressively responsible administrative/management or programme experience is required at the national and/or international level.
Proficient user of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
and advanced knowledge of spreadsheets; experience in handling web-based management systems is required.
Knowledge and experience of handling Enterprise Resources Planning platforms such as PeopleSoft is desirable.
Proven ability to review and edit documents and proven ability to produce meeting reports identifying key actions is desirable.
Working experience in a UN Agency and/or an international organization is an advantage.
Experience in project and programme quality assurance is an asset.
Language
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
