Job DescriptionMad About Education group runs a variety of nature and outdoor programs for children of all ages. We have a full-time Program Coordinator and Facilitator position available. The role of the facilitator is to coordinate, facilitate and conduct programs. Detailed job description is as follows:
To coordinate, facilitate and supervise a variety of indoor and outdoor programs and camps for children.
Design, explore, experiment and prepare programs and activities for children of different age groups.
Some administrative work required.
Job RequirementsHas a diploma/degree in Teaching or Early Childhood Education or Outdoor/Recreation or Sports Science or equivalent.
Possess a good command in both written and spoken English. Ability to converse and write in Malay or Chinese is a plus.
Possess at least 2-3 years experience in teaching or educating children.
Must be able to handle and work well with children of all ages. This is a very important element that the company places great emphasis on.
This position requires you to be in nature and outdoors most of the time, hence you must be able to adapt to being in an outdoor environment constantly.
We occasionally conduct programs during the weekends hence you must be able to work during the weekends with off days on weekdays.
We conduct overnight camps for children hence you must be able to stay overnight during camp time.
Must be a team player, able to adapt well to different situations, quick-witted with good leadership skills.
You would be required to travel to schools and centers to conduct programs hence you should have your own transportation that allows you to move around. Travelling allowance is provided.
