Role Purpose To help bring our vision to life, we are looking for a proficient "Programme Manager - Capital Projects" who will deliver the workplace projects that allow the business to be productive and efficient, whilst delivering the best-in class experience.
The role sits within the Workplace Team of UniOps and reports to Global Project Management Office (PMO) Lead. The Programme Manager will be responsible for delivery of a portfolio of concurrent projects of varying scope and scale, and act as a regional single point of contact.
Responsibilities The main responsibility of the Programme Manager is to act as a regional single point of contact between the Workplace team, local Unilever office, Unilever internal and external stakeholders for successful delivery of allocated projects. This will include supporting the Unilever Workplace team in development of strategy, providing programme ownership and execution.
Understand Global PMO key strategic objectives, contribute and support towards successful planning and execution of the workplace projects.
Establish and maintain a PMO function, providing oversight and governance to ensure consistent delivery across all projects.
Understand individual project terms of reference, develop strategies, and assist with the delivery of projects within agreed business case targets related to safety, cost, time, quality, experience, and others.
Develop and lead ongoing management of the master programme of the allocated projects.
Motivate and drive performance of project internal stakeholders such as HR, SHE, IT, Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Communications, and others.
Motivate and drive performance of external stakeholders such as Design and other consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Oversee and guide throughout all project phases e.g., design, procurement, construction, move, handover, commissioning, and close-out.
Maintain an oversight of all project activities and follow up with stakeholders as necessary.
Develop and maintain a governance framework to proactively manage project risks, issues, and change control.
Chair project meetings, reporting and maintain project documents.
Assist Global PMO team in maintaining building project management knowledge centre e.g., methodology, standards, governance, reporting and processes.

Required Skills and Experience 8- 10 years of project management experience in corporate real estate or construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on targets.
Formal certification in project management is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with Senior Management and Business Leads.
Problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to details.
Team-working skills and ability to motivate and oversee a group of people with different personalities and points of view.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and issues to a range of stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage internal and external stakeholders.
Strong financial management skills, with experience in managing large budgets.
Excellent problem-solving skills with 'can do' and forward-thinking attitude.
Experience in working in a global, matrixed organization.
Self-starter with an ownership mentality.
