Project Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial operations for the O&M power plant, utilizing expertise in O&M-specific financial management to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization.
Manage budgeting, cost optimization, and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
Prepare and manage full sets of financial statements in accordance with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards, Companies Act, and Income Tax Act.
Draft and present audited reports, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
Prepare and present comprehensive management and board papers, ensuring clarity and accuracy of financial data for informed decision-making by stakeholders.
Maintain group consolidation reports and ensure alignment with internal directives and reporting requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and group reporting standards.
Key Requirements:A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
6-8 years of experience in financial management, with prior exposure to Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects being an added advantage.
Strong familiarity with Malaysian financial and tax regulations.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
