About the roleLSA ARCHITECTS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Penang. As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of architectural projects, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring innovative and sustainable solutions to life. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, contributing to the growth and success of our company.
What you'll be doing
Lead the design and planning of architectural projects from concept to completion
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional and visually appealing designs
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution
Oversee the implementation of projects, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning environment
What we're looking for
LAM Part II & III, Bachelor of Architectural Studies or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Architect, preferably in the design and construction
Strong proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical design solutions
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles
Passion for architecture and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
