About the roleSimfur Design Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Penang.
In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects by coordinating various aspects of the project lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and understood
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify and resolve potential issues or delays
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency
Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, plans, and records
Provide support to the project management team as needed, contributing to the overall success of the project
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant industry regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams
Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Proactive problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
Possess a relevant tertiary qualification, such as a degree in Construction Management or Project Management
