Project Cost Controller

Posting Date : 19 Jun 2023 | Close Date :18 Aug 2023 - Our client:A global leader in the development of decarbonization solutions currently constructing a new biofuels production facility in Malaysia.Main Responsibilities:Ÿ Responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure financial objectives are met. Ÿ- Analyzing project budgets, tracking expenses, and providing accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholders. Ÿ- Collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.Ÿ Develop and implement cost control procedures and processes to effectively monitor project expenses.Ÿ Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project budgets and cost estimates.Ÿ Monitor project budgets and compare actual costs against budgeted costs to identify variances and ensure cost control.Ÿ Conduct regular cost analysis and forecasting to provide accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholders.Ÿ Review and validate project invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests to ensure accuracy and adherence to project budgets.Ÿ Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend measures to improve cost efficiency without compromising project quality and scope.Ÿ Work closely with finance teams to ensure proper allocation of project costs and adherence to financial policies and procedures.Requirements:Ÿ Bachelor's degree in building services, civil, mechanical engineering or quantity surveying.Ÿ At least 10 years' experience in project cost control and budgeting, quantity surveying.Ÿ Relevant working experience in the oil and gas/energy sector and experiences in PCC project will be an advantage.Ÿ Experience in large scale construction progress monitoring.Ÿ Knowledge of building services project management tools.Ÿ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.or contact Karen Woong for a confidential discussion.EA Registration No.: R1106968WiseNet Asia Pte LtdLicence No. 11C5663Tel: +86 23 8873 0078 Sub Specialization-:- Engineering;Any- Type of Employment-:- Permanent- Minimum Experience-:- 10- Work Location-:- Malaysia
