Project Engineer (Construction)

Duties 
• Assist inthe tender especially for MOS and planning
•Review plans and other technical documents
 • Answer questions regarding the scope and/or timingof the project 
• Monitor costs and projectprogress 
• Maintain control of all projectdocumentation 
• Create, manage and trackRFI's from the field to the architect/engineer ofrecord 
• Maintain/update projectrecords 
• Assist the projectmanager/superintendent in creating and distributing the projectschedule 
• Assist project team withconflict resolution between owner, contractor andsubcontractor 
• Turn in submittals fromsubcontractors to A/E for approval 
•Assist project manager/owner in getting building permits for theproject 
• Create site SWPPP book and applyfor state and local SWPPP permits/NOI's for theproject 
• Understand appropriate buildingcodes/ regulations 
• Coordinate projectchange-order management, creation and negotiation 
• Conduct and document weekly project owner'smeetings/decisions 
• Assist the projectteam with site safety documentation andcoordination 
• Assist the project teamwith closeout of the project 
• Assistproject accountant with monthly subcontractor billings and payapplications 
• Assist project manager withassigned tasks
