Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for managing the successful planning, execution, and closure of the project portfolio across the team for Asia Pacific.
General Tasks: Responsible for large investment projects such as production plants, infrastructure or buildings.
Interdisciplinary management with internal and external stake holders.
Execution of projects reginal wide in collaboration with the local site managers.
Professional interaction with local authorities.
Job Duties: Working on master plan and budget planning process for CAPEX related projects.
Preparation and execution of feasibility studies for investment projects.
Presentation of projects to management.
Schedule, plan, resource and manage the investment projects.
Tracking project progress and report status.
Determining and taking corrective actions.
Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives.
Determine the organizational structure of the project team.
Identify roles and positions.
Motivating team members.
Execute basic and detailed engineering work based on our standard rules (i.e.
engineering handbook, investment manual and PCP).
Planning, managing and monitoring of the projects according to the guidelines of the PCP.
Building up strong project teams and defining clear tasks and responsibilities for all team members.
Close co-operation with R&D regarding formulation, with production regarding manufacturing process, procurement regarding raw materials and with other stake holders.
Identify services to be provided by external companies.
Observance of the internal standards (review, reporting, processes).
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
Makes sure various methodological analysis (risk analysis, HAZOP, cost-benefit analysis, FMEAs) are applied.
Definition and enforcement of technology standards and specifications.
Qualifications Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management accreditation.
Experience working in a multinational or multi-regional environment.
Structured and effective approach to own work and time Proactive attitude to set and achieve objective.
