Our client is a global manufacturer of heat transfer products and services, specialized in developing evaporative cooling equipment that conserves water and energy.
Job Responsibilities:Project Management Initiation:
Working closely with the sales and applications team to ensure a clear conception of project deliverables, milestones, and budget prior to accepting the PO.
Planning:
Create project schedule and budget in close cooperation with all the stakeholders including engineering, factory, distributors, subcontractors and customer.
Monitoring and Control:
Follow up and document the progress on a regular basis, set up a transparent and regular status update and communication plan, along with an escalation plan to ensure timely response to any risks or changes.
Closure:
Follow through until all deliverables have been achieved, all punch items on site have been cleared and all invoices have been paid.
Site Support:
Supervision of installation and commissioning. Warranty support: assess issues, coordinate rectification plan with factory team and supervise corrective actions on site. Aftermarket: visit existing installations and write visit reports with an assessment of the current state and make recommendations with regards to maintenance, refurbishment or replacements.
Performance Indicators:Project cost and schedule variance (%)
Customer feedback with regards to quality of communication and execution
Aftermarket sales revenue
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5 years of experience with cooling towers or rotating equipment sales
5 years of experience in construction project management
Good English, other languages are a plus
High sense of responsibility, discipline, and ability to work under pressure
Creative and analytical problem solver, focused on results and getting the job done properly
Customer centricity: good inter-personal skills and clear communicator, adept in detecting and addressing any possible ambiguities upfront
Team-player: ability to interface well with people of various backgrounds such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, purchasing, QA/QC, etc.
Willingness to travel from time to time (+/-50%)
