About the roleAs a Project Engineer (QA & QC) at SKA TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes during the construction and delivery of projects.
This is a contract role based in Johor Bahru, Johor.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure projects meet required standards and specifications
Conducting on-site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and identifying and resolving quality issues
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of quality control activities
Providing training and guidance to project teams on quality control best practices
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality assurance and quality control
What we're looking for
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a project engineer or quality control role in the construction industry
Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles, techniques, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues
Proficiency in using quality control software and tools
Experience working in the construction industry in Johor Bahru, Johor is preferred
