Project Engineer (Trackwork)

1. Assist Project Manager / Construction Manager and Project Team in meeting project objectives.
2. Plan, organize and implement the project to meet Client's requirements and good construction practices, rules and regulations, in compliance with the organization quality management system while ensuring health, safety, and environmental aspects of the project are complied with.
3. Plan and coordinate work to ensure site work is carried out according to drawings, contract specifications, schedule, construction plan, procedures, and work instructions.
4. Ensure inspections and tests are carried out as per inspection and test plans, and that all quality control mechanisms are being used, with results confirming to specifications.
5. Monitor completion of the project according to schedule, cost, and quality.
6. Manage project site documentation and coordinate the Consultant's supervision team.
7. Check and verify contractor's submissions.
8. Prepare weekly and monthly schedules for the project site.
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
2. At least 10 years of working experience in railway construction.
3. Must have trackwork experience.
4. Be proactive, responsive to changes in direction or priorities, and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. Professional and pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Able to work independently and put in extra hours when required.
