Project Logistics Pricing Specialist

You will be joining our Project Logistics Team to add your expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational + Customer Excellence. ** Your Role **:WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS? ** Your Responsibilities**:- You are responsible for completing assigned pricing activities as per our timelines + guidelines, ensuring accurate pricing, as per the client's scope of services, with the minimum required margin applied, covering all service/supplier costs to allow the most profitable scenarios to the business.- You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.- To utilise all approved pricing tools + portals available to search for carriers + cost.- To ensure that all costing for services are as per the service level agreement + scope of work ordered.- To ensure the utilization of minimum selling margins while providing pricing.- To ensure that quotes are logged + recorded accurately + timely in required systems.- To follow any specified special cargo processes as set out in our internal documents when pricing project cargo.- To support your manager in procurement sourcing initiatives.- To ensure automation when updating buying + selling rates into our transport management system (TMS)**WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**- Your understanding of the market + pricing strategies along with your carrier relationships will be key to your success- You have been selected for this role for your knowledge across our operations because you possess the key attributes we are looking for.**Your Skills and Experiences**:- Min 1-2 years experiences in Tender/Supplier Management- A strong operational background in freight forwarding or shipping, and an understanding of the forwarding market- Exposure to rates and/or costings in a similar position within a freight forwarder, airline or shipping line- An exceptional eye for detail, methodical and accurate- Commercial acumen, with an ability to maximise profit and think outside the box- Strong time management, being comfortable working towards tight deadlines and remaining calm under pressure- Strong computer skills with an aptitude for picking up new computer systems quickly- Proven success in building positive working relationships with others**About Kuehne+Nagel***With over employees at some 1,300 locations in over 100 countries, the Kuehne+Nagel Group is one of the world's leading logistics companies.CONTACTFarah
