Job Description Oversee the execution of projects/contracts involving both in-house manufactured and outsourced products, managing the entire process from initiation to completion.
Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion within allocated resources.
Coordinate with clients and various departments within the company, including the company's Group globally and the factory, to ensure smooth project implementation.
Initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary to maintain effective project control.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders, as applicable.
Supervise projects related to in-house manufactured and outsourced products, including Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Feeder Pillars, Ring Main Units, Gas Insulated Switchgears, Air Insulated Switchgears, Compact Substation Units, Control Relay Panels, Mobile Substations, and Transformers.
Review and verify project designs, technical aspects, and product specifications as needed.
Address and monitor customer complaints, ensuring prompt coordination with engineering, service, QA, and technical teams for necessary support.
Handle all project management tasks, such as submitting drawings to clients, preparing reports, securing performance bonds, attending meetings, visiting sites, requesting bank guarantees, managing LOA/LOI extensions, and coordinating delivery, to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, customers, and suppliers.
Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and delivery schedules with the Planning, Logistics, and QA departments, as well as clients.
Prepare invoices and follow up on collections.
Follow company policies and procedures related to quality, environment, and safety.
Report any accidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions to management and suggest improvements.
Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and enforce SOPs across all sections.
Provide coaching and training to team members, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities and meet targets.
Perform general managerial duties to ensure compliance with company policies, develop talent, foster good internal and external relationships, and act as a positive role model.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
At least 7-8 years of experience in switchgear design and development or in mechanical/electromechanical design and development roles.
Extensive experience in the complete switchgear development cycle (AIS/GIS), with a deep understanding of key operational components such as switching elements, draw-out mechanisms, circuit breakers, enclosure structures, and grade levels related to IP ratings and IAF standards.
Strong knowledge of international standards related to switchgear design and development, with the ability to provide clear interpretation to guide design concepts and direction.
Proficiency in AUTOCAD, NX, Inventor, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Expertise in drawing standards and practical geometry tolerance.
Advanced knowledge in switchgear design methodology, including calculation, analysis, and design for manufacturability, switchgear standards, and engineering principles related to routine and type testing.
Strong project management skills, with proven experience in leading technical teams.

Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
