Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning:Develop project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plans.
Task Assignment:Develop and assign project activities, tasks, and milestones.
This may involve creating Gantt charts, timelines, or other project management tools to track progress.
Communication:Serve as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and external vendors.
Lead and facilitate communication, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about project status, changes, and key decisions.
Documentation:Review, approve, and maintain accurate project documentation, such as meeting minutes, status reports, and project master deliverable lists.
Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to team members and stakeholders.
Resource Management:Identify resource requirements and manage allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities.
Monitor resource availability and utilization to ensure efficient project execution.
Risk Management:Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and work with project stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
Quality Assurance:Monitor project deliverables and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
Conduct quality reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality.
Budget Management:Develop budget planning and track project expenditures against budget allocations.
Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization and minimize cost overruns.
Team Support:Provide advice and set direction to project team members, including technical support as and when required, within core competencies.
Support team members with task assignments and resolve any administrative issues that may arise.
Continuous Improvement:Lead project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices that can be applied to future projects.
Contribute to the development of standardized project management processes and tools.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, business development, or a similar role.
A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of expertise (e.g., Master of Business Administration) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Experienced in managing engineering projects in the oil, gas, and petrochemicals industry with proven experience in managing project's triple constraints – Cost, Scope, and Timeline.
Strong technical and engineering knowledge related to Asset Management Services (e.g., asset register, asset verification, SCE identification, ECA, SSPS, ERS/FMEA, RBI, RCM, and CMMS application/data conversion).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and proposal management software.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of work performance, follow through on assignments, and anticipate, identify, and analyze problems and resolve or recommend a course of action for resolution as appropriate.
Proven ability to independently analyze complex problems, research complex issues, draw appropriate conclusions, and develop and implement innovative solutions.
Highly organized individual with a high degree of attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication in English as well as solid interpersonal skills including communication, collaborative facilitation, coaching, and influencing.
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with Senior Management, as well as proven ability to work as part of a project team and deliver results.
Strong presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
Continuous improvement attitude to seek out and implement best practices.
