Responsibilities:
Manage assigned project(s) to ensure that the project completes on time, within budget and specified quality and safety requirements for handing over to the clients.
Lead, plan, direct and/or coordinate with the entire project team (internal & external) on activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems towards the successful completion of the project.
Manage resources, such as financial, manpower, materials, and machinery productively and efficiently within the budget.
Review, monitor progress, and provide support to all Departmental Heads and/or site staff.
Ensure smooth progress of the project through close liaison or attend meetings with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities.
Ensure that the Company's Quality and Safety Management System is adhered to at all times.
Ensure standards are complied with when preparing for award schedule of sub-contractors or suppliers and call for quotations, conduct negotiations, and recommendations leading to the award.
Ensure total completion of the project and obtain the Certification of Practical Completion.
Ensure all final accounts are closed.
Ensure that the project is completely handed over and Certificate of Making Good Defects is obtained.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
8 years' working experience in high-rise commercial building and mixed development projects with a contract sum exceeding RM150 million and proven track record of completing projects within budget, time, quality, and safety.
Essential exposure in multi-disciplinary works within a project, including handling project planning, budget and cost control, safety, and quality system implementation.
Possess good understanding of design, detailing, building regulations, project implementation, and tender processes.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
Essential knowledge and experience in ISO and QLASSIC implementation in the construction industry.
