Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates project activities, acting as primary customer contact and ensuring project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
Demonstrated consistent successful performance on large size projects or multiple medium size projects concurrently.
Demonstrated excellent team work and communication with project team, functional departments, peers and customer.
Demonstrated the ability to manage, guide and provide necessary assistance to peers and entire department during his/her absence.
Demonstrated the ability and willingness to take up additional roles and responsibilities.
Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.
Be aware of the needs and expectation of interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
5 years and above of experience in managing a wide variety of custom automation projects
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Possesses the ability to manage projects without supervision.
Strong leadership skill to lead the project team and resolve conflicts.
Significant experience in managing a cross functional project team.
Knowledgeable in machine design for automation.
Understand 2D technical drawings (AutoCAD), 2D design modelling (Solidworks) and general dimensioning and tolerancing
